Warp 1.2a A disk tracker and compression program. Warp is a utility that will allow you to read a disk track by track and build a compressed (.WRP) file suitable for transmission by modem to BBS systems. The receiver can use Warp to decompress the .WRP file and rebuild a copy of the original disk with directory structure intact. This version of Warp will detect several of the Amiga virus programs that are known to exist. This version will refuse to compress a disk containing a virus and also will refuse to reconstruct a .WRP file that contains a virus and was built with an earlier version of Warp. Please note that Leo Schwabs DiskMap program can be used to determine exactly which tracks of a disk need to be Warped. DiskMap displays a graphic map of tracks used on a disk. Unused tracks need not be included in the .WRP file. Type WARP alone for documentation.
